our family
As a whānau (family) we are proud to work in partnership with nature to produce some of the finest Mānuka honey. We Love the bees we work with and see them as our extended whānau. We are so confident in the care we provide for our bees that we know they won’t harm us. This is why in our video the adults and children don’t need any protective equipment such as suits, veils, or gloves. We are all working in harmony and this is one of the things that differentiates us from the competition.

Work in Harmony
When our bees are happy and content we don’t need to wear lots of protective clothing you may have seen on other bee keepers. We aim to provide a calm environment so our bees are happy and harmony prevails!
Extended whānau
Bees have been a part of our family and life for so long that they’re seen as being an important part of our extended family. They give us our livelihood, and in turn we strive to look after them as best we can.
A Safe home
It is always our intention to provide our bees with a safe, welcoming home, where they are happy to be in their natural state, live a stress-free life and make delicious honey.
